Capture
What gets captured
LUCI can capture your screen and both sides of a call. You control permissions. Cards, keys, and passwords are blacked out before save.
LUCI captures from this computer only. It does not see other devices, and it does not join other people's meetings as a bot.
Sources
| Source | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Screen | Apps, windows, and the words that appeared on them |
| Your voice | Your side of meetings and calls |
| Their voice | The other side of meetings and calls |
Together that is your whole day on the computer: meetings, email, code, everything in between.
You are in control
- Nothing is captured until you grant permissions and leave LUCI running.
- Turn screen memory or meeting capture off in the app when you want a gap.
- Quit LUCI and capture stops.
What is removed before save
Cards, keys, and passwords are blacked out before anything is saved. That happens on this computer. Those details are not sitting in the memory for you or an agent to stumble over later.
What is not captured
- Other people's computers
- A meeting you are not in, on this machine
- Calendar contents (LUCI does not read your calendar)
- Anything after you quit the app or revoke permission
Where the files live
Everything is stored on this machine:
- Windows:
~/.luci/ - macOS:
~/.luciMicrosoft/
How to delete it, and how it is locked to your login, is on the Security page.
