Connect Continue
Install the official LUCI skills so Continue can search your screen and meetings in Agent mode. Install from the Luci-skills repo, or add LUCI over MCP.
Continue sees the code in your editor. It does not see the dashboard you checked an hour ago or the call where someone changed the spec. The official LUCI skills let Continue look those up when a question needs them.
The skills live in the official repo: Memories-ai-labs/Luci-skills.
Install the skills
LUCI's in-app installer writes into Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex. For Continue, install from the repo.
npx skills add Memories-ai-labs/Luci-skills -g -a continue --copyThat writes into ~/.continue/skills/, so the skills work in every project. On Windows that is %USERPROFILE%\.continue\skills\. Drop -g to install into this project's .continue/skills/ instead.
Keep --copy. Without it, the installer links each skill folder into ~/.continue/skills/ instead of copying it, and Continue skips linked folders when it looks for skills.
That puts luci and distill on the agent. Continue shows the model each skill's name and description, and reads the full skill only when a request matches.
Ask in Agent mode. The luci skill works by running a small luci command, and Agent mode is where Continue can run commands.
Try asking
- "Search my screen memory for the 500 error I saw in the browser"
- "What was I working on yesterday afternoon?"
- "Find the part of the call where we changed the deadline"
- "distill my life"
Optional: connect over MCP
If you would rather give Continue the tools without the skills, copy the URL and token from LUCI's Screen Memory panel. Create .continue/mcpServers/luci.yaml at the top of your workspace:
name: LUCI version: 0.0.1 schema: v1 mcpServers: - name: luci type: streamable-http url: <url> requestOptions: headers: Authorization: Bearer <token>
To use it in every project, add the mcpServers entry to ~/.continue/config.yaml instead. Open that file from the config dropdown at the top right of the chat input, using the cog next to Local Config.
Continue only calls MCP tools in Agent mode. If you keep the file in the workspace, leave it out of version control. The token belongs to your install of LUCI.
More on the protocol path: Connect over MCP. Skills are the recommended path. MCP is the fallback.
If Continue still cannot see your memory, check Common issues. Privacy note: Agent Bridge.
