Your Life folder
Your agent writes a daily record in your Life folder. LUCI remembers the memory underneath, and search still has what the record left out.
Your Life folder is the daily record your agent writes from the day you actually had. It is yours. The agent writes it. LUCI remembers the memory underneath.
What it is for
A day of meetings and screen is too large to reread. The Life folder is the distilled version: what happened, what was decided, what still needs a follow-up. You open it when you want the day in a page, not a search result.
What it is not
- Not a cloud journal we generate for you
- Not a replacement for the full memory. If a detail did not make the daily record, search still has the moment.
- Not something you have to write. Your agent writes your Life.
How it fits with everything else
| You want | Use |
|---|---|
| The day in one place | Your Life folder |
| One exact moment | Search or chat |
| An agent that was there yesterday | Install skills |
The Life folder and the searchable memory are the same day. Open Life when you want the summary. Search when you want the exact moment.
To set this up in Claude, Cursor, or Codex, install the skills, then say distill. The first run creates your Life folder at ~/.Life if it is missing, and writes the days you skipped.
