Memory
Chat
Ask LUCI questions about your meetings and screen in a conversation, with follow-ups. Answers come from the memory stored on this device.
Chat is the conversational way to use the same memory you search. Ask follow-ups. Narrow a moment. Pull a decision out of a long call without scrubbing the recording.
What to ask
Anything that happened on this computer while LUCI was running:
- "Summarize today's standup."
- "What did the client push back on?"
- "Find the stack trace from this morning and tell me which file it pointed at."
- "What did I promise in yesterday's 1:1?"
Ask in your own words. You do not need special syntax.
Where the answer comes from
Chat reads your local memory. It is not a general web assistant, and it is not inventing a meeting you did not have. If LUCI was not running, that hour is not in the record.
Chat vs an external agent
| Chat in LUCI | Claude / Cursor / Codex | |
|---|---|---|
| Reads your memory | Yes | Yes, through the official skills |
| Writes code, PRs, docs in those tools | No | Yes |
| Needs LUCI running | Yes | Yes |
Use chat when you want the answer here. Use the official skills when you want the agent you already work in to recall the same day.
