Install on Mac

LUCI for Mac is an official disk image. Apple Silicon only (M1 through M4). Intel Macs are not supported yet.

Download

1. Open the download page.
2. Under macOS, choose Disk image (.dmg). The file is Luci-arm64.dmg.
3. Open the downloaded file and drag LUCI into Applications.

Prefer a direct file? Use the same download on /download.

First launch

On first launch, LUCI walks you through the permissions it needs:

• Screen Recording, so it can build screen memory
• Microphone, so it can capture your side of meetings and calls

Grant both if you want meetings and screen in one memory. You can change them later. See Permissions.

No account is required. LUCI is free.

Updates

The Mac app can update itself. After an update, reopen LUCI if it does not come back on its own.

If install fails

• Confirm the Mac is Apple Silicon (Apple menu → About This Mac). Intel Macs will not run this build.
• Confirm you are on macOS 13 or later.
• Re-download the DMG from /download instead of an old copy.
