Local models

Your summaries run on your machine, not ours.

LUCI loads local models through Microsoft Foundry Local, which picks the fastest hardware you have and runs the model there. The model reads your memory and writes up your day where that memory already sits.

There is no API key to paste and no token bill at the end of the month. Nothing about your day gets uploaded to be read.

  • Pick the model

    Phi, Qwen, Llama, DeepSeek. Switch whenever you like and your memory stays where it is.

  • Runs on hardware you already own

    Foundry Local finds your NPU or GPU and runs the model there. If you have neither, it uses the CPU.

  • Works offline

    The models download once when you install LUCI. After that you can turn the Wi-Fi off and nothing changes.
